An original song for polymorphite, a PC rhythm game created by Hajimeli.

My goal with this one was to get out of my comfort zone and make something more experimental. Back when I was writing this for the Sunset Serenade contest in 2025, I assumed it would end up as a vivid/stasis original, so my goal was to fit the idea of a “cycle” into less than three minutes of music.

Of course, “just for the weekend.” ended up in the sequel instead, so the references in it might not make much sense anymore (Saturday → weekend, a melody that sounds like a certain Frums song, returning to the beginning, etc.), but despite that I am glad that it was good enough to stand on its own.

If you like this song, you should check out my other releases and look out for my upcoming album, “A FLOWER FOR YOU”, which will feature many of my experimental works from the past year.
